It's been... 8 years since we created our first mochi. Since that day we have not stopped improving.
Why Noku
Noku we are Juanda, Pablo and Yolanda, and this is the story of how our project was born. We love to travel and discover cultures through their food. On one of those trips, in Japan during the summer of 2017, we tried mochi for the first time. Its texture and flavor surprised us and we instantly fell in love. Since then, we've been walking around Tokyo looking for more mochis and trying traditional and modern versions, such as cheesecake, which years later would be our best-selling Noku.

Upon returning home, we tried to find mochis that would transmit that same magic, but none of them succeeded. So on every trip — China, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam — we keep looking for it. Until, in Hanoi, next to Hoan Kiem Lake, the big idea came up: what if we were the ones taking that experience home?

This is how Noku was born: mochis who seek to awaken in every bite that same joy and curiosity that we felt the first time. A small trip that we now share with you with all the enthusiasm in the world. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we do!
